Note: A right of withdrawal exists only for consumers (Section 13 of the German Civil Code, BGB). Entrepreneurs (e.g. hotels, catering businesses) have no right of withdrawal.
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which the contract is concluded.

by means of a clear declaration (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the attached model withdrawal form for this purpose, although it is not mandatory.
You can also exercise your right of withdrawal online via our withdrawal function at www.ascensus-digital.de/en/widerruf-ausueben. If you use this online function, we will send you confirmation of receipt without delay on a durable medium (e.g. by email), including information about the content of the withdrawal declaration as well as the date and time of its receipt.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Consequences of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you without delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we receive notification of your withdrawal from this contract.
For this reimbursement, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged any fees for this reimbursement.
If you have requested that the services begin during the withdrawal period, you must pay us a reasonable amount corresponding to the proportion of the services already provided up to the time you notify us of your withdrawal compared to the total scope of the services provided for in the contract.
Early expiry of the right of withdrawal (digital content)
The right of withdrawal expires in the case of a contract for the supply of digital content not provided on a tangible medium (e.g. software download, license key) if the provider has begun performance of the contract after you have
1. expressly consented to performance beginning before the expiry of the withdrawal period, and
2. confirmed your awareness that, by giving your consent, you lose your right of withdrawal once performance begins.
In the case of services, the right of withdrawal expires accordingly when the service has been fully performed and you have expressly consented to performance before the expiry of the period.
